    Vintage Elgin American Compact Silver and Gold Tone c. 1949. Made in USA With Silk Bag and Original Box
    This vintage Elgin American silver tone and gold tone compact was a Christmas gift from a first boyfriend in 1949.  There is a note documenting that.  The mirror has clouded up.  It measures 3 1/2" at the widest part x 2 3/4".  It retains the original silk bag and box.
    This is an estate find.
