Vintage Oval-Shaped Compact with Mirror and Makeup - Rose Decoration on Lid

Description

Vintage oval-shaped compact.  Inside of the lid has a mirror, while the base of the compact has makeup powder (most of the powder is gone).  The original powder puff is also included.  Small area of silvering on the mirror.  Top of the compact has an inset rose design; I don't know what this rose inset is made of.  Underside of the compact is ribbed.  Not sure when this compact is from, but I'm guessing that it was made in the 1940s or 1950s.  Compact is in excellent condition, with no dents, nicks, scratches, or other damage.  No manufacturer is identified.  i don't know anything more about this item.  Thanks for looking!
